Project Players is a new venture founded by Peter Seymour and Greg Pattillo. We are high octane chamber music blasting out sounds from the past and present. We are focused on blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. We also love to do blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Peter Seymour

Double bassist Peter Seymour has performed with many of the world’s most highly acclaimed artists and ensembles, including the Cleveland Orchestra, New World Symphony, Houston Symphony, New York City Ballet, Iris Orchestra and the Colorado Music Festival. He was the recipient of the Downbeat Magazine Award for Best Jazz Soloist and has shared the stage with such luminaries as Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove and Bobby McFerrin.

Greg Pattillo

Greg Pattillo is recognized throughout the world for his redefinition of the flute sound. Greg was lauded by the New York Times as "the best person in the world at what he does." His groundbreaking performance videos on Youtube, showcasing "beatbox flute", have been viewed more then 80 million times.

Special Projects and Collaborations:

Carnival of the Animals - A contemporary vision of "Carnival of the Animals" features Saint-Saëns' original animals and music with new animals and contemporary music from modern composers. These pieces were filmed and recorded by artists in their homes during 2020. The film is produced by Peter Seymour and Strings Music Festival for Strings School Days, a unique music and arts education program provided by Strings Music Festival at no cost to schools, students, or teachers.

 
 

Collaboration with Saxophonist, Daniel Berkey - Saxophonist, Daniel Berkey, hails from Chicago, IL and has been playing professionally since the age of 13. Under the tutelage of Nic Meyer and Greg Fishman, Daniel won several honors, most notably: a DownBeat Magazine outstanding soloist award and was selected as a Vail Jazz All Star. He currently lives in NYC where he attended The New School. He has performed with a wide range of musicians and bands, including The Four Tops, Mingus Band, Bobby Broom, Marquis Hill, and Dennis Carroll. He credits Sonny Rollins with having ‘lit the flame of aspiration’ within him.

Friendship Circle New Jersey - Peter Seymour joined FCNJ and legendary saxophonist, Dave Koz, to create this music with some incredible young people. Friendship Circle offers innovative respite, social, and recreational programs for people with special needs and families with the help of teen volunteers.
